I don't usually post on the weekend, but I just wanted to wish you happy first day of lobster season (well, in this region). It's always lobster season somewhere in Nova Scotia, and each area's season lasts two months.
How do I know all this information about lobster season? Two reasons:
1. I used to work at a lobster restaurant in Halifax where I had to tell tourists all about lobster.
I also frequently had to get the meat out of their lobster shells (that can really throw you off your schedule when you've got seven tables and you're a terrible waitress).
2. Our landlords, who live upstairs, fish lobster for a living and brought us some lobsters! I'm thinking it's going to be a good two months.
They gave us cooked cold ones, so I'm going to shop around the Internet for a delicious lobster recipe for tomorrow's dinner.
